Education: A Right

Empowering students with the right to learn

Project Education: A Right

Because Every Dream Deserves a Classroom

Education: A Right is a grassroots initiative that champions equal access to education, regardless of circumstance. In June 2023, the project supported two young girls, Aradhya and Varsha, in enrolling at Seth Lalchand Dharmarth Sansthan, covering their full primary school fees and academic supplies.

Following the philosophy — “you’re extra is someone’s need”—upon which this project is based, it also extended monthly financial aid of INR 10,000 to Laxmi, a first-year visually impaired student battling corneal dystrophy, enabling her to pursue an MBA at a premier university. By bridging financial gaps and removing barriers to learning, the initiative reaffirms education as not just a right, but a powerful equalizer.

The Rehmat Foundation has taken forward the initiative of sponsoring the education of two underprivileged children, Aradhya and Varkha, for their primary education (nursery) at Seth Lalchand Dharmarth Sansthan. Education is a gift that keeps on giving.

Ms. Laxmi, a visually impaired student suffering from cornea dystrophy, is in her first year at FMS Delhi, pursuing her MBA. A hardworking, scholastic student, she achieved the highest grades and a class ranking of 9 SGPA out of 72 students, along with various academic accomplishments such as her Diploma in Computer Applications from BRA and a B.Com degree from Gargi College.

Despite her achievements, Laxmi was struggling to meet financial ends. So we, The Rehmat Foundation, stepped in to support her education—because we believe that education is a right everyone should be able to exercise.

We hope that Ms. Laxmi, a bright student with exceptional internships and academic experiences, will now be able to complete her MBA with our small contribution.

We wish her the very best in her academic journey and her LIVE project at Outlook.

“Your extra is someone’s need.”

Welcome to my world — always a work in progress, just like science, and just like me.
