Project Dignity on Wheels
Breaking Barriers, Building Dignity
Project Dignity on Wheels is a mission-driven project that challenges the idea that disability is the barrier—when in reality, it’s inaccessibility. This initiative provides free mobility aids like wheelchairs to individuals with disabilities across Delhi NCR, enabling them to reclaim autonomy, confidence, and dignity.
To date, over 25+ mobility devices have been distributed through funds raised via community contributions and resource redistribution (INR 1,80,000+). Each device represents more than movement—it’s access to education, employment, and full participation in daily life.
At its core, Dignity on Wheels is a call to action: to see accessibility as a right, not a privilege. By breaking physical and social barriers, the project fosters a more inclusive, equitable society—one where mobility means freedom, and independence is non-negotiable.
